Participants will explore the history and roles of the Maryland Real Estate Commission and NAR, review the three primary sections addressing duties to the public, clients, and other licensees, and gain insight into complaint processes and potential penalties. The class also emphasizes practical application through real-world scenarios, including agency relationships, disclosures, fiduciary responsibilities, and common transaction stages, along with discussion of current issues such as flipping and predatory lending.
