This 90minute course is designed to provide realtors with an in-depth understanding of human trafficking, sexploitation, and how these issues intersect with the real estate industry. Attendees will learn to recognize subtle signs of trafficking in properties they manage or sell, such as unusual rental agreements, suspicious behaviors during showings, or irregular client interactions. The course focuses on how realtors can protect themselves from potential risks while adhering to the NAR Code of Ethics and legal standards. By attending, agents will gain the knowledge and tools to act responsibly if they encounter signs of trafficking, ensuring both their personal safety and their ability to contribute to the fight against exploitation.
