This course will explore valuable County resources, including the Land Use Navigation System and online tools that help agents verify permits, inspections, violations, property records, and zoning information. Participants will also review recent legislation involving accessory dwelling units, manufactured and alternative housing, the Maryland Housing Certainty Act, transit-oriented development, and updates to Anne Arundel County Article 18 Zoning Code. Agents will leave with practical tools and resources to help them verify property information, understand the relationship between State law and local zoning, and provide buyers and sellers with accurate, up-to-date information.
